Jiuzhou Port, Fisher Girl Statue, Seashore Park

Zhuhai has a reason it’s called the pearl of the sea. It has many sights, including the famous Fisher Girl. Next to it, there is a beach park. We built sand castles at the beach of the park. Zhuhai was fun.

The Fisher Girl is a beautiful statue by the sea, gracefully raising a bright pearl with both hands high in the air. It is said that she spreads bright light to the world and donates treasure to Zhuhai people. It stands nearly 9 meters high.

We spent a long time at the beach next to Zhuhai Fisher Girl Statue until dinner time. We built a big sandcastle. In the end, it was fun breaking it down by stomping on it.

Seafood Porridge 海鲜粥

To end our trip in Zhuhai, we decided to try a steam pot with full of seafood in celebration. It was fascinating how steam pots works. The lady put a bowl of rice and pour some water at the bottom of the pot, lay seafood at its top layer, cover the pot, set timer for 10 minutes. Yummy yummy seafood! We can choose whatever sauce from a full shelf selection. At the end, the porridge at the bottom of the pot is ready with lots of seafood flavors.

Zhuhai is a beautiful, clean city. The Fisher Girl is an awesome statue standing at the bay. The beach was fun to play with. Steam seafood pot dinner was a big thumb to our Zhuhai trip. The next day, we will take ferry from Zhuhai to Hong Kong to catch 1pm flight to Seoul.
