Silver Cave, Ten Mile Gallery

Yangshuo was nice and beautiful today. The Silver Cave was gigantic with tons of stalactite rocks. Those rocks form a lot of beautiful sceneries. Ten Mile Gallery was long. Yulong river has real bamboo boats.

Silver Cave has two English names, one is Silver Cave, and the other one is Stalactite Grotto. The cave is long and deep, with three layers of rock and different types of stalactites. The rocks are crystal clear and sparkling like silver, giving the cave its name. The rocks formation is pretty, some like resemble waterfalls, others like snowstorms! A reflection pool is so amazing that looks like I am standing beside a cliff.

Ten Mile Gallery

Ten-mile Gallery occupies an area of 8 square kilometers. Its name is from the beautiful gallery like scenery along the road. There are many mountain peaks that seem to have sprung from the ground. One famous mountain is called The Moon Mountain. The mountain shapes like a moon.

Yulong River cross through the Ten-Mile Gallery. It is also called Meet the Dragon River. The legend says there is a dragon, who loves the river so much and decided to claim his home here. If you are lucky enough, you may spot the dragon! Yulong River has traditional bamboo boats, made from real bamboo! The water was so emerald green that I wish we could float on it.

My second day at Yangshuo involves lots of exercising. It was a warm day, not very cold, not very hot. Hiking at the Silver Cave was very cool. From every angle, you may see a single rock in many ways. The colorful lights make the rock formations look better. Walking 10 miles through The Ten-Mile Gallery was not tiring at all. I enjoyed the beautiful mountains on the way. The water at Yulong River is amazing green. It is the best day ever!
