Trail sign

     Yosemite Mist Trail was fun! It is fun to climb with all those bumpy roads and huge steps. I like hiking on Mist Trail every time we go. As I wished, there are some thick ice at the top of Vernal Falls. My white Christmas wish became true.

Majestic Yosemite Hotel

     We had an awesome tour of the Majestic Hotel, which was a national landmark. It is 7 stories high, has several real fireplaces, cool mural, and a writing room with antique furniture. The hotel has a lot of history. It started at the time of the native Indians, and when Yosemite was a young national park. It is old! How old it is? It was a luxury hotel since about 200 years ago! The building is made of steel. But its painting made it looks like made of wood. It is also super fire resistant.

    Yosemite was very exciting, along with many attractions. There is a lot of history. Yosemite didn’t have lots of snow yet in this winter. Without much snow, the view was pretty much the same as summer. As always, the beauty of the mountains takes my breath away.
