Big Wild Goose Pagoda was fun. It also has a good view of the biggest music fountain in Asia. It is the “Leaning Tower of Xi’an”. My mom told us it’s one of the landmarks of Xi’an. While we were walking, we took pictures of gates and lanterns.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda was beautiful up close. Unless it was time for the music fountain show, the fountains in front of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda were always around 5 feet tall or shorter. We walked up the hill where Big Wild Goose Pagoda was built on. There were carvings on one side. We picked a good spot and waited for the music fountain show. The show started at 8pm and lasted for 30 minutes. When the fountains started, they were small then gradually became around 20 feet tall. The music rhythm changed 8 times. I recognized one but the others are still mysterious. When the show ended, I was disappointed because it was beautiful but short.

The next day we went to the Shanxi Museum (陕西博物馆). It is one of the top four biggest and famous museums in China. But the line was so long we decided not to go in this time. I wish we could go there again.

We went to Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square at night. It was built in the Tang Dynasty. It is more than 1300 years old. It is tilting a bit! We had our dinner in a restaurant near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Since the day was hot, we ate spicy foods. The square has a famous music fountain. It is the biggest one in Asia. The music fountain goes with lots of songs. The music sounds like performed through different instruments. So it is like an orchestra! It was such a beautiful sight!
