We went to Pingjiang Road. It had lots of cafes and restaurants. I think it’s called Pingjiang Road because it goes beside the Grand Canal (京杭大运河).The Grand Canal is the longest canal in the world from Beijing to Hangzhou. It’s length is 1794 km (1115 miles). It’s history dates as far back as 2400 years ago, during the Spring and Autumn period.

Suzhou style desserts |
We reached a spot where there were lots of treats. I saw gummy fish, steamed buns in the shape of a pig head, and others. Ping Jiang Road was delicious.

Ping Jiang Road was fun. It is part of the Grand Canal. We ate a lot of desserts. They were really yummy. I even ate a pig made out of bread. Ping Jiang Road was fun!
