Shanghai is a fabulous city. The Oriental Pearl Tower is a pretty TV Tower. Nanjing Road has many shops along its course. The Shanghai Bund was one of the world’s biggest financial centers. The food we ate was yummy. Shanghai is very fantastic for its fame.

The Shanghai Bund is a very important place. The Bund was a muddy and narrow lane in the 1840s. It became a trading post in 1846, and streets were paved. Many buildings were built and businesses, banks, and newspapers made headquarters here. They caused Shanghai to eventually become the world's best financial center (over 100 years ago). The Bund is now a landmark of Shanghai. It has a bull nearly identical to the one in New York (and by the same sculptor) that means fortune, prosperity, and an economy going up. It is one of the fastest developing cities in the world! Shanghai used to be the country's best industrial and manufacturer center. Many things are exported from Shanghai to everywhere across China or also traded.

This city is very exciting. No matter when you come, the Oriental Pearl Tower looks delightful all the time. Nanjing Road holds many stores. The Bund houses the headquarters for many banks. The special dishes are flavorful. Shanghai is a fine place.
